THE WORKSHOP 90 min A group of 20 to 50 participants will be given basic and concise information on the European electoral system, the turnout, the role of the European Parliament and achievements (five freedoms + specific ones) as well as goals of the European Union. The idea and the concept of “ivote4.eu” will be explained. However, it will not be presented as a completed product but in way which will urge for creative concretization. Teams will be formed to discuss issues concerning the employment of digital social media in this context as well as options for wording and contents. The results will be presented interactively and will be put into practice immediately on site. The participants will be encouraged to promote “ivote4.eu” throughout the EYE 2018 and keep on doing so in the aftermath to take full advantage of the potential of digital social media. |
